Hello, I’m Ron DiLeo...

...and welcome to IN THE BLACK. IN THE BLACK is the consulting interest that I founded in 2007, specializing in performance management.  What do I mean by performance management?  Business performance, supplier relationship performance, sales performance, organizational performance, customer retention - performance management means all of these things and more.  Companies retaining the services of IN THE BLACK are looking to maximize the return on all that they invest in the commercial side of their business and, of course, their people.  In the end, businesses are only as good as the people making that business happen.  The most successful businesses are those fostering a sales culture across their organization. 

I am personally involved with with every engagement and am the lead consultant with work associated with travel program performance and sales performance management.  I have worked for more than thirty years in various roles, in various

capacities, all within the travel industry which enables me to view the world through a diverse set of lenses.  My work has taken me all around the world but the bulk of my experience comes from businesses that I have led in Europe and in the United States.  You will find a complete bio of all of these experiences on the “About Ron DiLeo” page of this website.
